SUARA SOPPENG North Luwu — A total of 400 land plots owned by the residents of Arusu Village, Malangke Barat District, have been successfully certified through the Comprehensive Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program.

In a symbolic gesture, hundreds of certificates were handed over by the Regent of North Luwu, Indah Putri Indriani, to the local community at the Arusu Village Office on Thursday (01/24/24).

"We are grateful that North Luwu is always prioritized for national strategic programs, including the program from the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) to provide legal certainty for land ownership. This means the government trusts the citizens, and citizens should also trust the government," expressed Indah.

"For residents whose land is not yet certified, efforts should be made to process it as soon as possible. Especially since it was mentioned by the head of the land office that North Luwu has again received the PTSL program this year. For villages that receive this program, it is intended to be comprehensive, covering not only residential land but also communal assets such as places of worship," she explained.

With these certificates, the hope is that more citizens will have legal certainty and clear rights to their land ownership. This not only helps avoid land dispute conflicts but also can be utilized to enhance community productivity.

"For those who have received PTSL certificates, it is advised to take good care of them. Besides serving as legal certainty, these certificates can be used as collateral in banking, provided the loans are used for productive purposes such as business capital. Avoid using them for consumptive purposes," advised the wife of Golkar Faction member of the Indonesian Parliament, Muh Fauzi.

Meanwhile, the Head of the National Land Agency (BPN) in North Luwu, Sukirman, appreciates the commitment and attention given by the local government, especially the Regent of North Luwu, in supporting land-related programs.

"North Luwu consistently receives the highest quota of certificate programs for two consecutive years. This is undoubtedly a result of the excellent communication carried out by the regent, from the provincial level to direct communication with the Secretary-General of BPN," explained Sukirman.
